Leon Rosen for Pace Coffee Table [AVAILABLE]

Beautiful patchwork burl top with a cylindrical chrome base. Unmarked, but carries all the signs of Rosen’s 70s work for Pace, and has the same cylindrical chrome base as many of his marked chairs.
This table is often misattributed as a Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin design, but Baughman’s design for TC had a square chrome-wrapped plywood base. This table is a cylindrical chrome-wrapped plywood base. Still cool, and still from a notable designer and a high-quality manufacturer, just not attached to Baughman, or TC.
The table is in really good vintage condition with some minor flaws in the veneer, and some slight fading in the finish. The chrome wrap on the base is also beginning to separate from the core. I will be attempting a few different fixes for that while I wait for this to sell. This thing deserves a complete professional restoration, and would be a stunning statement piece in any home, but is also striking as-is.
