In amazing original condition. The hardware was really gross, and the brass was fading, so I polished it down to the steel. Looks better that way in my opinion, and most of these Profile pieces have chromed knobs by now anyways, so it should match a set pretty easily.
Very little wear to the original finish. I’ve just polished it and cleaned off some paint that was on the exterior, and its finish glows really well—especially in the warm sunlight.
I love the lines of Profile, and pretty much all of John Van Koert’s work. He had a distinct style, and has been one of my favorite mid century designers since I got in this business.
