Dixie furniture mostly made unremarkable mid and low end furniture, except for this one line where they decided to actually make something exceptional. While these chairs are a vintage American knockoff of the vintage Danish knockoff of an Eric Buch masterclass in design, they are still a stunning example of modernist design.
Structurally in great condition. Fabric shoes wear consistent with age, but the seats are still comfortable and presentable. Offering these for sale as is while my upholsterer finishes some other projects for me. Should they not sell, I will likely have them reupholstered in something funky.
