Incredibly well made, and in good vintage condition. This was purchased around 20 years ago from By Design Furniture on South Blvd in Charlotte, and has been with its original owner since.
This is a vintage reproduction, and while of great quality, is not technically an “authentic” piece of Mies van der Rohe design.
Thick white leather upholstery in great condition. Leather support straps in good condition. The base has heavy iron braces to prevent sagging. Leather straps that connect the cushion to the base are in good condition. Polished steel legs are in great condition. Free of rust, and sturdy. Frame is in great structural condition, but the black lacquer finish does show some signs of wear from use and moving.
