A fabulous vintage Eames-styled lounge chair manufactured by Selig in the 60s/70s. Finish is in original condition with some imperfections. I have decided to leave it alone at present because it still looks pretty good, and making it perfect would be a relatively expensive project.
The cushions have all been replaced with new feather-down inserts, and it has been completely redone in a high quality purple dyed leather hide from Modern Fabrics. While I understand that most people look for these in black, white, and brown, I felt that there are enough of those in this world, and we rarely see these with fun colors done in high-quality leather. I am hoping this will appeal to someone looking to fill their home with fun, vibrant colors. This won’t be the statement piece in its new home. It will be part of a cohesive design filled with fun colors and shapes.
