September 2025
It all begins with an idea.
This month has been a wild ride. I finally got my paperwork back from the state to be recognized as a business (yay, we get to pay sales tax now)! I’ve had a ton of product move in and out. I picked up some of the coolest things I have ever had, and I have started looking for a retail space to allow in-person viewing to get us out of this cramped storage unit.

I finally installed all the new furnishings to Green Leaf Skin Therapy. The space looks great! It got outfitted with a Broyhill Forward 70 Magna Chest, a cute green velvet side chair, a new mid century style rug with cute hues of green, some vintage chrome mirrors, a new chrome and tempered glass product shelf, and some fun art! I’ll share some photos when I can.

The Lane Alpha triple dresser finally has a backboard and a new solid wood bose. Its finish will hopefully be done soon. I dropped off the Selig Eames-style lounge chair, Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin lounge chair, and the Drexel Declaration lounge chair and ottoman to upholstery. Those will hopefully be available soon!

I finally finished the Paul McCobb Perimeter Group 8 Drawer Dresser for Winchedon. Completely refinished with new legs made (some dummy cut them off, boo!). It came out great!
I also got the Puzzle Chair cushions back from upholstery. New feather-down and poly cushions made with a fabulous plum leather hide from Modern Fabrics. I’m so happy with this project, and can’t wait to see the cool home it ends up in.
I picked up another queen sized Danish platform bed that’s in amazing condition. I know y’all eat these up, so I am going to try and get some more to keep y’all satiated.
I just got the opportunity to help stage an awesome mid century home for sale here in Charlotte. I’ll be sending the platform bed, puzzle chair, and McCobb dresser to the project. I’ll do my best to let yall know when that happens, so be sure to follow on Instagram and sign up for the newsletter so you don’t miss it! This will be a fun chance to see a cool house and get to view some of my product outside of the storage unit. The furniture will be for sale at the house.
Some things came and went faster than I could blink. I bought and sold a Niels Koefoed “Eva” dining set before I even had time to put the table in my storage unit. Some of the coolest bent plywood chairs I have ever seen came and went in less than a day. I found a vintage Lipstick Mirror on my way home from Hickory the other day which sold before I even had time to answer all the messages I had about it. A Drexel Index freestanding shelf went out to the curator of the Drexel Museum.
Some things sat longer, but still sold pretty fast. The Craddock Furniture credenzas both sold. I delivered the short one to an awe inspiring home in Columbia, SC, and the long boy with the slate top to a couple moving into a new home in Durham. The Broyhill Emphasis magna dresser sold to a very excited client of my girlfriend’s who fell in love with the Forward 70 Magna in Green Leaf Skin Therapy. I get it. Those dressers are also a favorite of mine.
On my way home from delivering the long Craddock credenza to Durham, I ran into a Leon Rosen for Pace Burl coffee table with a chrome base that, as of me writing this, is available for sale. I’m regularly shocked by my luck picking. I wish I could have kept it, but a 40” square is a bit large for my tiny NoDa apartment.
On my way home from delivering the smaller Craddock credenza to Columbia, I ran into a Drexel Profile credenza and petite buffet. I kept the buffet for myself to use as record storage, but the larger credenza is currently for sale in pristine original condition.
I can’t wait to see what the next month has in store for me as I dive head first into running this one-man show! Thanks for riding along with me!
