A very well-made dresser with fabulous grain patterning on the veneer.
Twelve drawers total. Eight larger drawers flanking four small drawers for ample storage and organization.
In overall good condition. Some minor fading to the finish. A few spots in the top that I probably could have polished out, but I haven’t. Structurally very sound, no damage that affects utility or stability. There is one unfortunate chip in the veneer on one bottom corner on the side casing. Triangular chip is about 1”x2”. Drawers all glide well and don’t fall out when in use. Still presents beautifully.
Brass hardware is electroplated, and the electroplate is failing, which is typical for its age. I left it as-is, but it can easily be polished down to chrome should the buyer prefer to take that route. Brass feet are still in really good shape.
While this is stunning as-is, it would be an absolute show-stopper if restored by the right person. I would be more than happy to refer you to a restoration professional should you wish. As always, I recommend Fos Restoration in Huntersville you simply won’t find better restoration anywhere local.
