A very cool early bent plywood chair from Carter Brothers.
Finish has had a light refurbish. The original vinyl was rotting away, so it has been replaced with Gunnar Aagaard Andersen’s “Letters” fabric in Purple from Maharam Textiles/ Kravdrat. Maybe a bad use of a really nice fabric, but I had some small pieces of it that fit nicely where the cushions were.
Take this home with you today. I can guarantee nobody else has ever made such a ridiculous expense on fabric to cover a Carter Brothers chair. You may just have the coolest one in existence.
