In pretty good original condition. The finish was pretty grimy so I just polished it with some Oz Cream Polish and got a lifetime of built-up grime off. There is some wear to the finish, but it’s still pretty and presents very well.
Structurally in great condition. Incredibly sturdy. All drawers function as they should. No veneer chipping or gouges in the wood. Some light scratches here and there that are noticeable if you stare at it for a long time in direct sun like I did today.
A great storage option with a 12 drawer configuration that is much less common in vintage pieces than the usual 9 drawers.
A great length, and >30”H (I’m looking at you, picky interior designers who don’t like anything lower than 30”H).
Might get this restored if it doesn’t sell as-is. Unsure if I feel like doing that and making it twice the price or more. Happy to give a referral to someone who would do a great job if that is the route you’d like to take.
